Michael Hunt

Michael Hunt has practised resources law in Perth for more than 50 years. He has been recognised nationally and internationally as a leading mining lawyer including by Best Lawyers and Doyle’s. He was national President of the Energy & Resources Law Association. His writings include the books Mining Law in Western Australia and Minerals and Petroleum Laws of Australia. For many years he served as a director of various ASX listed junior exploration/mining companies. His expertise is in all aspects of the law affecting resource projects, including mining law, native title law and the laws relating to Aboriginal cultural heritage.
